Beautiful Primitive Piece available from Antique Alchemist
Very unique and rare find.
Beautiful Lotus flower atop Phoenix legs, Has Phoenix Handles and a Phoenix Screw Centre Piece.
We were told it was for medications. The screw in centre keeps all vessels locked and in place. Each and every petal opens up. You could us this for trinkets or coins or even as a decoration piece. Definitely a conversation starter.
There is beautiful Patina with glimpses of the Gold metal underneath. At some time in the past one of the legs was re-attached or fixed, you can see in pictures there is a newer nail on the underside attaching the leg. Cannot be seen when standing.
Believed to be Asian in origin, Circa 1800.
